Abstract:
To provide a line connection device and a communication system in which it is descriminated readily whether a trouble has occurred within a responsibility boundary point.
A line connection device 1a operates a CRC value using a specified part of frame format data transmitted from a user LANN1 and attaches the CRC value to the tail of data being transmitted on a leased line N. A line connection device 1b operates a value using a specified part of data transmitted through the leased line N and compares that value with the CRC value attached to the tail of received data.
