An LCD panel 6 having a vertical stripe color filter (not shown) is provided with a parallax barrier (not shown) such that R(red) subpixel array and B(blue) subpixel array of an odd-numbered vertical line are recognized visually by a left eye and G(green) subpixel array is recognized visually by a right eye, whereas R(red) subpixel array and B(blue) subpixel array of an even-numbered vertical line are recognized visually by the right eye and G(green) subpixel array is recognized visually by the left eye. When subpixel data is shifted at a delay section 9, both the pixels viewed by the left eye and the pixels viewed by the right eye are arranged in the order of RBG, RBG, RBG, ... thus ensuring natural display.
