To prevent damage to a rolling face caused by the facts that a rolling body is in a boundary lubrication condition or less even under allowable load in a running condition in a low speed region and smooth running becomes difficult due to damage to a surface in a linear guide and improve service life of a bearing.
A surface hardened layer is additionally formed by gilding, vapor deposition, thermal spraying or the like, reforming treatment is applied to the surface, or oil having viscosity of base oil of supply lubricating oil of 100 cSt to 1,000 cSt is used in at least one section of the rolling face of a slider and a rail of the direct acting guide, the rolling body such as a ball, a roller or the like, and a contact face of a retainer in contact with the rolling body.
