Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enhance the efficiency by locating a polyphase multipolar coil assembly on one side through the use of the central row of permanent magnets having alternately matched pole state. CONSTITUTION: The linear motor M comprises a central row of magnet 10 formed by arranging a series of individual magnets 12 in a grasping rod 14. A coil assembly 16 is located on one side of the central row of magnet 10. A magnetic circuit closing material 18 is located on each side of the central row of magnet 10 on the outside of the coil assembly 16. The central row of magnet 10 and the magnetic circuit closing material 18 constitute a stationary assembly 26 being fixed to a table 28. A moving table 24 is coupled through a linear bearing 30 with the fixed table 28.
