Abstract:
The problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a polymerizable compound-containing liquid crystal composition that can simultaneously achieve a faster polymerization rate, an appropriate tilt angle formation, a high tilt angle stability, and a high voltage holding rate (VHR), and a PSA-type or PSVA-type liquid crystal display element using the polymerizable compound-containing liquid crystal composition in which the burning-in (IS) is sufficiently suppressed or the burning-in (IS) is not generated, and the polymerizable compound suitable for the preparation of the polymerizable compound-containing liquid crystal composition. The present invention solves the problem by providing a polymerizable compound having a specific chemical structure, providing a liquid crystal composition containing a plurality of specific polymerizable compounds in combination, and providing a liquid crystal display element using the liquid crystal composition.
