To provide a liquid crystal display device excellent in repairing property in which a polarizing plate can be easily peeled, and to provide a method for manufacturing the liquid crystal device, and an electronic equipment.
The liquid crystal device comprises liquid crystal substrates having a liquid crystal material sealed between a pair of substrates, and a polarizing plate adhered with a cohesive layer on an outer face of the liquid crystal substrates, and the device has a division guide portion on a side in the peripheral sides of the polarizing plate, the side extended in a direction intersecting the direction of the transmissive axis of the polarizing plate, so as to peel the polarizing plate from the outer face of the liquid crystal substrates while cutting and dividing the polarizing plate along the direction of the transmissive axis. The division guide portion may be, for example, a break line, a notch or a break groove not penetrating through the top and back faces.
