PURPOSE: To assure a liquid crystal infiltration port and to eliminate liquid crystal display devices with which liquid crystal injection is insufficient by removing the burrs on the lateral sides near a liquid crystal injection hole on the lateral sides of insulatable resin plates.
CONSTITUTION: A first continuous body formed by integrating plural sheets of the first insulatable resin plates 1 and a second continuous body formed by integrating plural sheets of the second insulatable resin plates 2 are stuck to each other by a seal 3 to form a third continuous body. The lateral sides of both insulatable resin plates 1, 2 adjacent to the liquid crystal injection hole 4 are cut in a direction facing the liquid crystal side from the side opposite to the substrate surface in contact with the liquid crystals at the time of cutting such third continuous body to individual liquid crystal display devices. The burrs 10 facing the liquid crystal side from the surface opposite to the substrate surface in contact with the liquid crystals are generated on the lateral sides near the injection hole 4 by this cutting. The parts 11 of these burrs 10 facing the injection hole 4 are cut off to form the regions where the burrs are removed, by which the degradation in the yield by the burrs, etc., are prevented and the non-injection of the liquid crystals is prevented.
