Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obviate the degradation in the opening rate of pixel parts due to misalignment by forming auxiliary capacitance lines so as to partly overlap on the ends of pixel electrodes.
CONSTITUTION: Signal wirings 101, scanning wirings 102 and auxiliary capacitance lines 103 are wired in a matrix form. TFTs 104 as switching elements, pixel electrodes 105 connected to these TFTs 104 and auxiliary capacitances(Cs) 106 are formed at the respective intersected points of the signal wirings 101 and the scanning wirings 102. The scanning wirings 102 and the auxiliary capacitance lines 103 are successively alternately arranged from above to below. The respective parts are so disposed that both top and bottom end parts of the pixel electrodes 105 overlap on the auxiliary capacitance lines 103 and that the central parts thereof overlap on the scanning wirings 102. As the result, the influence of the increase in the capacitance value on the opening rate of the pixel parts is suppressed to a lower level even in such a case where the increase of the capacitance value of the auxiliary capacitances 106 is made mandatory by the change of the TFTs 104, etc.
