Abstract:
PURPOSE:To previously remove the impurities adsorbed on an oriented film by previously bringing a liquid crystal material to be injected into a liquid crystal display element into contact with the oriented film material prior to injection. CONSTITUTION:The inside wall of a liquid crystal pool 11 is coated with a polyimide film 12 in a reduced pressure injection method. The inside walls of a device for supplying the liquid crystal to a liquid crystal cell and a piping for supplying the liquid crystal are otherwise coated with the polyimide film. The liquid crystal display element having a high-voltage holding characteristic and high reliability is provided in this way. The unequal threshold voltage near an injection port and unequal display are drastically decreased.
