Title:
LIQUID FUEL COMBUSTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5697707
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To promote the vaporization with a greater vaporizating area while reducing the production of tar by making a capillary structural body adapted to suck and vaporize a liquid fuel so spiral that an air is blown from the center thereof and flows along the surface thereof.

CONSTITUTION: A porous body 4 as a capillary structural body is housed wound spiral in a premixing chamber 7 in such a manner as to be immersed into a liquid fuel in a fuel tank 9. After air is introduced into the center of the spiral porous body 4 from a vaporizing air inlet 1, it is heated with a honeycomb-shaped PTC ceramic heater 2, blown through an inlet 5, and moving spirally. Menawhile, the liquid fuel sucked up through the porous body 4 is vaporized by heat and delivered from an outlet 6. Subsequently, after mixed with a secondary air from an inlet 3 at an appropriate ratio, the vaporized fuel is fed to a flame hole not illustrated and burned.
