PURPOSE: To obtain a lithium-iron conductive solid electrolyte of chemical stability and of high conductivity by compounding either an oxide of gallium or an oxide of iron, a salt of lithium, a salt of sodium and an oxide of aluminium with one another at their respective corresponding specification amounts for being subjected to baking treatment.
CONSTITUTION: Composition shown as the oxides of respective elements is regarded as represented by a general formula of xLi2O.yNa2O.zM2O3.wAl2O2. A total of Li2O and Na2O, x+y ranges from 0.8 to 1.5, and the occurrence of the total of less than 0.8 or of more than 1.5 refuses to obtain high ion conductivity. A total of z+w ranges from 7 to 14, and the occurrence of the total of less than 7 or of more than 14 refuses to obtain the high ion conductivity. Also a ratio y/x means 0<y/x≤3, and the occurrence of the ratio y/X of more than 3 then refuses to obtain the high ion conductivity. And these oxides are compounded together for being then subjected to baking treatment so as to manufacture a lithium ion conductive solid electrolyte. The excellent lithium ion conductive solid electrolyte can thus be manufactured to have its chemical stability, high conductivity and industrial advantage.
