PURPOSE: To obtain the toy which can erect vertically and can be bent by forming a long-size body by connecting plural pieces of cylindrical blocks having a fitting projecting part in one end and having a recessed part which can be fitted thereto by holding a small clearance in the other end with a string having an elastic body, and fixing both ends of the string.

CONSTITUTION: It is desirable that each block is fitted in a state of having a clearance of the extent that the coupled blocks are detached, when a long-size body is bent. As for an elastic body, for instance, a spring, a rubber string, etc., can be given. As for the toy 10, a spring 14 is attached to one end of its circular part, and the string passes through to the other end therefrom, therefore, even if each block 11 is fitted loosely and there is a clearance, each block is not detached in the case of a regular state. Also, it is possible that a plate is placed in the tip provided with the elastic body, the other end of the string is fixed to a drum, and a rolling-in means to the drum of the long-size body, a drum rotation driving device for extruding it from the drum, and a stop device are provided.
