Title:
LOOM MEMBER MADE OF STEEL HAVING EXCELLENT CORROSION RESISTANCE AND WEAR RESISTANCE AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREFOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2002285287
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a loom member made of steel which has improved sufficient wear resistance even in a severe wear environment, is hard to be corroded by water of dew condensation and moisture in fiber, and is used over a long period.

Steel having a composition containing, by mass, 8.0 to 20.0% Cr, 0.05 to 1.20% C, ≤1.0% Si and ≤1.0% Mn, and further containing Ti and/or Nb and Ti alone by 0.05 to 1.0%, and Nb alone by 0.05 to 1.50%, or Ti+Nb by 0.05 to 2.0% in total, and the balance substantially Fe, and having a structure in which the carbide of Ti and/or Nb is dispersedly prcipitated into the matrix of the steel in ≥0.3% by a precipitation amount is formed and worked into a loom member. This member is thereafter dipped into an aqueous solution in which ozone generated by an ozone generator from air as the raw material has been dissolved, so that a passivation film in which Cr has been concentrated is formed on the surface of the steel.
