Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the subject lincomycin-based antibiotic lotion exhibiting a high therapeutic effect without remarkable side-effect in improving acne vulgaris frequently occurring in the juvenescent and adolescent period.
CONSTITUTION: The objective lotion is obtained by dissolving a lincomycin-based antibiotic together with a lower aliphatic alcohol, a polyvalent alcohol and a water-soluble polymer as a thickening agent in a very weak acid buffer solution. The obtained lotion is remarkably excellent in improvement of acne vulgaris and almost free from a side effect.
