Abstract:
To provide low GI drink for reducing burden of insulin secretion of the beta cell of Langerhans in the pancreas, and preventing life habit diseases, diabetes crisis and obesity.
The low GI drink contains glucide of molecular formula of C6H12O6 or C12H22O11, and polyol besides starch excluding digestion-resistant starch, or contains at least one kind selected from (A) glucide of molecular formula of C6H12O6 or C12H22O11, and polyol besides starch excluding digestion-resistant starch, and (B) ascorbic acid, citric acid or phosphoric acid and their salts.
