Title:
LOW SPEED SYNCHRONIZING METHOD OF GENERATOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5473229
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain sufficient synchronizing power even at low speed, by shaping the number of the armature circuits of a direct-coupled exciter in at least two circuits of parallel circuits, and by changing over these parallel circuits to series connection when starting.

CONSTITUTION: In an AC exciter direct-coupled cross compound turbine generator, the armature circuits of an AC exciter are formed in at least two circuits, the synchronism of a primary machine and a secondary machine connected in series is attained at low speed when starting the cross compound turbine generator, and said two machines are connected in parallel when normal operation.
