Abstract:
To provide a lubricant composition having a low shear viscosity at 100°C and a shear speed (×107/s) while securing a relatively high viscosity at a high temperature (for instance, 100°C or more).SOLUTION: A lubricant composition contains (A) a base oil and (B) a (co)polymer, and has a NOACK evaporation amount of 15 mass% or more and less than 25 mass%. The lubricant composition is such that: a kinematic viscosity of the (A) base oil at 100°C is 3.0-4.0 mm2/s, and a weight average molecular weight (Mw) is 100,000-1,000,000; 0.5-6 mass% of the (B) component is contained based on the total mass of the lubricant composition; a kinematic viscosity at 100°C is 6.1 or more and less than 9.3 mm2/s; a high-temperature high-shear viscosity (×107/s) at 100°C is 3.5 or more and less than 4.5 mPa s; and a ratio of the high-temperature high-shear viscosity (×107/s) at 100°C to a high-temperature high-shear viscosity (×106/s) at 100°C [(high-temperature high-shear viscosity (×107/s) at 100°C)/(high-temperature high-shear viscosity (×106/s) at 100°C)] is 0.80 or more and less than 0.99.SELECTED DRAWING: None
