Abstract:
To provide a lubricant composition that makes it possible to reduce a viscosity at low temperatures (particularly 40°C) while keeping a relatively high viscosity at high temperatures even when the NOACK evaporation is kept in a low range, and also to reduce a sliding frictional coefficient (HFRR frictional coefficient).SOLUTION: A lubricant composition contains a (co)polymer (A) that includes a main chain having a polymerizable monomer-derived repeat unit and a side chain having a polyolefin structure, an ester oil (B), a sanitizer and/or a dispersant and an antioxidant. The lubricant composition has an HTHS viscosity of 2.25-2.54 mPa s at 150°C. The lubricant composition has a kinematic viscosity of 6.1-8.3 mm2/s at 100°C. The lubricant composition has a kinematic viscosity of 18.0-22.0 mm2/s at 40°C. The lubricant composition has an NOACK evaporation of 15-25 wt.%.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
