Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the title composition having excellent frictional characteristics, excellent compatibility with a sealing material, good heat stability, capability of long drain and excellent low-temperature fluidity.
CONSTITUTION: The title composition comprises a base oil comprising an ester in which the weight ratio of 5-14C carboxylic acids to 15-38C carboxylic acids is (0.1-50):(99.9-50) and at least 0.1-15wt.%, based on the base oil, at least one component selected between a condensate of a metal alkylaromatic sulfonate with an alkanolamine and a 5-14C carboxylic acid and a reaction product of an amine with a dicarboxylic acid (anhydride) containing a 5-30C alkyl or alkenyl group.
