To provide a technique of a coated metal stranded wire with visibility even in dark night.SOLUTION: The light-storing coated metal stranded wire in which a first coating layer 4 is attachedly formed by applying a molten first resin material to a side of a metal stranded wire 3 and then cooling it down, and a second coating layer 5 is formed by applying a molten second resin material containing a light-storing pigment and then cooling it down, so that the second coating layer adheres to the first coating layer, the second coating layer 5 being a semi-transparent resin.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
