Abstract:

To obtain a tape shape superconductor having high Jc and Ic values by suppressing the causes of the occurrence of cracks and the falling of the electrical combination at a crystal grain boundary.

When an Re-based (123) superconductor is manufactured on a substrate by an MOD method, the thick tape shape superconductor having a superconducting property of Jc=3.20 MA/cm2 and Ic=525 A/cm (X=1.5) can be manufactured by using a raw material solution having a Ba molar ratio range of X2 (favorably 1.0X1.8 and more favorably 1.3X1.7) when the molar ratio of Re, Ba and Cu is denoted as Re:Ba:Cu=1:X:3.
