PURPOSE: To accurately lay a laid-out fabric layer in an edge part area of a pile of fabric web layers by movably arranging the directing surfaces for deflecting a fabric web freely suspending from fabric web sending-out means under the fabric web sending-out means.

CONSTITUTION: A fabric web 24 delivered through a guide means from a fabric web reel is suspended in a free state from fabric web sending-out means 46, 48, the tip is deflected along one surface 90 of the directing surfaces 88, 90 arranged below, and is superposed on a pile 30 as a fabric web layer 28 by extending in the shape of an extending bend 84. When the fabric web is layered by the prescribed length on the pile 30 synchronously moving rightward (in the inverse direction of an arrow 16), a sending-out means 46 closes, and cuts the fabric web 24 by rotation and a movement of a knife wheel 76 by sandwiching the fabric web 24 between it and (48), and orderly lays the fabric web on the pile 30 by sliding the cutting end to (90) from the surface 88 to thus accurately lay a laid-out fabric layer.
