Abstract:
To provide a method and a machine for operating a machine to process a sheet to be printed, which can arrange a favorable condition for shortening an exchange time.
The sheet-fed press 1 includes a to-be-printed sheet transfer drum 6 for transferring the sheet to be printed and at least one supporting face 7 of the sheet to be adapted to the sheet transfer drum 6 for supporting the sheet to be printed to be performed on a first operation mode. When the press 1 is operated on a first operation mode, the sheet support face 7 is kept in a state being fitted to the sheet transfer drum 6. When the press 1 is operated on a second operation mode, the sheet support face 7 is removed from the sheet transfer drum 6 to be stored in the press 1.
