Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine tool capable of correcting balance of a main shaft.SOLUTION: A machine tool includes a main shaft vertically extending so as to mount a tool thereon. The machine tool includes: a first annular body fitted to the outside of the main shaft; a second annular body fitted to the outside of the main shaft on an upper side of the first annular body; a correction annular body which is provided between the first annular body and the second annular body, is vertically movable, and relatively movable in a circumferential direction with respect to the main shaft so as to correct balance of the main shaft; an energization member which is provided between the correction annular body and the first annular body so as to energize the correction annular body to the second annular body side; a plurality of storage holes which are arranged side by side in the correction annular body so as to store weights; a pin which is provided in an upper section of the first annular body so as to be inserted into each storage hole; and a slider which is capable of advancing/retreating in a radial direction between the second annular body and the correction annular body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
