Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work tool that can execute a shaking prevention function of a main body thereof appropriately even if the kind of a battery pack to be attached to is changed.SOLUTION: A hammer drill 1 as a work tool comprises: a main body 2 having a battery attachment part to which a battery pack 15 is detachably attached; a motor 3 which is activated by power supplied from the battery pack 15; battery kind discriminating means that discriminates the kind of the battery pack 15; an acceleration sensor 23 that detects acceleration of the main body 2; and a control circuit 71 that stops the motor 3 when the detected acceleration is above a first threshold value.
