Abstract:

To provide a magenta ink composition which is good in light resistance and gas resistance and excellent in moisture resistance and clogging resistance properties.

The magenta ink composition contains at least one selected from monoazo compounds and salts thereof and at least one selected from the compounds shown by formula (2) and salts thereof as coloring agents.
