Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of rust when a magnetic latching apparatus is used for an object where washing, cleaning, etc., are performed, by involving annular permanent magnets on both an attracting side and a side to be attracted in such a manner that magnetic poles of the facing surfaces are different from each other.
SOLUTION: In a first magnetic latching member 1, a space between an outer peripheral wall of a first ferromagnetic protrusion 5 and an inner peripheral wall of a central hole 3 of an annular permanent magnet 2 is shielded from the outside with an abutting surface 10 of a cover 21 formed of synthetic resin. Similarly, on a second latching member 11 side, a space between an outer peripheral wall of a second ferromagnetic protrusion 15 and an inner peripheral wall of a central hole 13 of an annular permanent magnet 12 is shielded from the outside with an abutting surface 20 of a cover 22 formed of synthetic resin. In both of the first latching apparatus 1 and the second latching member 11, the whole bodies are covered with covers 21, 22 formed of synthetic resin. As a result, gaps and spaces are prevented from invasion of rubbish like dust, especially ferromagnetic member like iron powder, and generation of rust from a member formed of metal like a ferromagnetic member is prevented.
