To provide a magnetizing device capable of easily manufacturing a correcting member arranged around a neck section for correcting the trajectory of an electron beam and generating a permanent multi-pole magnetic field at a low cost and to provide its manufacturing method.
An annular correcting member generating a permanent multi- pole magnetic field for correcting the trajectory of an electron beam is arranged around the neck section of a vacuum envelope. A magnetizing device magnetizing the correcting member is provided with multiple magnetizing heads 30 and an intermediate magnetic material 36. The magnetizing heads 30 are faced to the outer periphery of an annular magnetic substance raw material 35 constituting the correcting member, and they are arranged apart from each other in the peripheral direction of the outer periphery. The intermediate magnetic member 36 is arranged inside the magnetic substance raw material 35 and is faced to the magnetizing heads 30 via the magnetic substance raw material 35.
