Title:
MAIL BOX SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3822290
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately measure a stack height in a bin by selecting exclusive allocation to allocate a mail box bin to only one person by a control system or common allocation to allocate it to plural persons, and selecting respectively different bin stack level guessing systems.
SOLUTION: When a mail box bin is allocated to only one person, a point count is performed on a sheet by using an expression by considering a thickness of paper and the correction factor by a staple buildup or the like, and a stack height is accurately guessed. When a single MB is used in common by plural persons, a whole width maximum stack height sensor bar 54 in a bin is carried on a staple buildup area 62 of a top part of a stack 51 with every certain time interval, and the stack height is measured. These measured values and a desired stack height preset in a controller are compared with each other, and the sheet is fed, and is restricted, and is directionally changed. In this way, the mail box bin can be efficiently used by accurately measuring the stack height.
