Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide novel compds. having a magnetic rate useful for use in magnetic temp. measurement and magnetic fluid.
CONSTITUTION: The compd. of formula I (x is 0 to 32; L is a ligand having formula II). This compd. is obtd. by dissolving carbonic acid ions, such as NaCl and sodium carbonate, and the compd. of formula III (R is H, hydrocarbyl) into water, then resting this aq. soln. for a sufficient time, for example, overnight. The compd. of the formula III is obtd. by mixing, for example, the water- contg. liquid of the compd. of formula IV with the manganese (II) carboxylate of formula Mn(O2CR)2, then oxidizing this mixture.
