Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a ceramic ware with a strand of latticed rope the peripheral wall of which is formed from a novel strand of latticed rope for use as an exterior material for an ornament, lighting fixture, flower vase, etc.
SOLUTION: A raw material for ceramic ware is kneaded with water to form bar-shaped molded items and two or more of them are twisted together to form a strand, which is cut into bar-shaped materials, column-shaped materials 3, or cord-shaped materials 4 each having a predetermined length, and a plurality of column-shaped materials 3 each having a certain length are erected on the periphery or on another specified area of a bottom plate 2, which is separately molded, according to the shape of a desired ceramic ware. And one or more of the materials 4 having the predetermined length obtained are mounted and fixed horizontally in an annular form on the top ends of the erected materials 3, following which a plurality of the materials 3 are erected on the materials 4 to form column-shaped materials of upper stage and one or more of the materials 4 having the predetermined length are mounted and fixed horizontally on the erected materials 3 to fix the materials 4 for upper stage. And the materials 3 and materials 4 for upper stage are fixed in the same manner as described above, which is repeated until a predetermined height of a ceramic ware is reached.
