Title:
MANUFACTURE OF FIBER REINFORCED CEMENT PLATE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH04364903
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent the generation of hair cracks by disposing pressure rolls in multi-stages along the molding belt transfer direction and setting the elongation of a laminar material generated by respective rolls and the elongation of the whole of laminar material as specified values and compressing.

CONSTITUTION: A cement blend 1 mixed with reinforced fibers other than asbestos is fed larminarily on a molding belt, and water is added thereon, and the belt is compressed into the given thickness by rolls R1-R8. Press rolls R1-R8 are disposed in multi-stages in the molding belt transfer direction, and compression is carried out gradually in a manner of making the elongation or respective rolls R1-R8 as much as 3% or less and the whole elongation 10% or less, and molded into the desired thickness. Thus the generation of cracks can be prevented by utilizing the low pressure difference.
