Title:
MANUFACTURE OF FIBER REINFORCED CEMENT PLATE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH04364904
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent the generation of pills because of pulp fiber by mixing silica fume with pulp fiber, making the silica adhered evenly on the pulp fiber surface, and then mixing the same with a blended material such as aggregate and feeding the same into a dry belt molding device.

CONSTITUTION: When a blended material is dry mixed, first silica fume and pulp fibers are mixed together, and silica fume is made to adhere to the pulp fiber surface and then mixed with another blended material such as aggregate and fed into a dry belt molding device. Then, cement blends B1-B3 are fed laminarily onto a molding belt A, and water is added therein, and the blends are compressed by rolls R and belt-shaped plates G are continuously molded. As the number of curds generated in the material to be fed is reduced almost by half, the reinforcing efficiency of reinforcing fibers is increased correspondingly to the reduction, and cement plates having the strength equivalent to asbestos can be molded.
