Abstract:

PURPOSE: To manufacture a material, capable of exhibiting good moldability even on filling a large amount of ferromagnetic powder, and moldable into molded articles having high magnetic characteristics, by adding a titanate coupling agent to a step of mixing and kneading a synthetic resin as a matrix with the ferromagnetic powder.

CONSTITUTION: A titanate coupling agent is added to a step of mixing and kneading a synthetic resin, e.g. polyamide resin or polypropylene, as a matrix with a ferromagnetic powder. The above-mentioned coupling agent acts as a plasticizer, and the ferromagnetic powder is highly oriented in injection molding in a magnetic field to give the aimed molded resin magnetic articles having high magnetic characteristics.
