Abstract:
To provide a molded component which does not necessitate post- treatment such as curing, intermediate storage, drying, etc.
A method for manufacturing a molded component from at least one mixture having sand, a mixing agent, cement and water as constituents at least. The constituents mixed in such a density as to fall in drops when they are poured are compression-molded in the shape of the molded component by applying thereto a molding pressure not being smaller than 5kN/cm2. A press 22 for manufacturing this molded component has at least two gate valves 24 and 26.
