PURPOSE: To manufacture perfluoroalkylvinyl ether modified tetrafluoroethylene resin mold with high accuracy in size by baking a preparatorily-molded object at temperature not less than the melting point thereof while said object is kept not in face contact with a metal, thereby to control imbalanced shrinkage of said object at the baking time.
CONSTITUTION: Perfluoroalkylvinyl ether modified tetrafluoroethylene resin mold is manufactured by baking a preparatorily-molded object at temperatures not less than the melting temperature thereof in the state that the object is not in face contact with a metal. The amount of perfluoroalkylvinyl ether (PFVE) in the perfluoroalkylvinyl ether modified tetrafluoroethylene resin is generally 0.005W1wt.%. In the case where the amount of the PFVE is less than 0.005wt.%, the resistance to creep is not effectively improved. Even when the amount of the PFVE exceeds 1wt.%, improvement in the resistance to creep is not observed in spite of the increased amount of expensive PFVE, which is drawback from an economical viewpoint. The baking temperature is adequate at 340W390°C which is a standard for baking this resin.
