PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance sealing properties and prevent bubbles, milkiness, distortion or coloring from occurring by using an adhesive tape with a non-adhesive face which is water-repellent and assembling two mold for polymerization with the tape wound around the lateral faces of the mold halves. SOLUTION: The non-adhesive face of an adhesive tape is treated so that it is water-repellent. Further, two glass moldes 1, 2 which form the optical face of a lens are fixed with a fixture, and an adhesive sheet 3 is wound around the lateral faces of the outer peripheries of the glass molds 1, 2 in such a manner that an adhesive 3c is located on the inside and the water repellent face 3a on the outside. In addition, a curable composition is injected into the mold with the help of an injection needle. The curable composition overflowing from an injection orifice drops rolling onto a sheet 3. The types of a water repellent are silicone homopolymer, a copolymer of silicone and another polymer and a polyblend of silicone with another component as a silicone family and olefins, a polymer containing a long chain alkyl group and fluorocarbon resin as a non-silicone family.
