PURPOSE: To aim at improvements in formability and leakagetightness of a tine-type cell by injecting an electrolyte from singular or plural through holes preinstalled in at least either side of two platelike terminals serving as both positive and negative electrodes in combination, and then closing the through hole.

CONSTITUTION: Singular or plural pieces of holes 7, 7' are drilled in metal plates 6, 1 serving as each terminal board of both positive and negative electrodes, while generator elements 2∼4 containing an electrolyte, insomuch that a leaked liquid out of the cell inside will not stick to an insulated sealing body 5 at the time of cell sealing, or not containing the electrolyte, are housed and, after a cell is sealed by the insulated sealing body 5, the electrolyte is poured thereinto from these holes 7 and 7' and then these holes 7 and 7' are closed. With this constitution, such a thin-type cell that is high in adhesion among these generating elements is manufacturable, so that polarization resistance at the time of discharging and charging can be made smaller.
