Abstract:
To provide an aqueous dispersion capable of forming a coated film excellent in water resistance and antifogging property, a manufacturing method of the aqueous dispersion, a water-based paint and a coated article.SOLUTION: The aqueous dispersion contains water, a surfactant, a fluoropolymer and a (meth)acrylate polymer, in which the fluoropolymer and the (meth)acrylate polymer are dispersed in water. The fluoropolymer contains a unit based on fluoroolefin, the unit is contained at 95 to 100 mol% based on all units contained in the fluoropolymer, the (met)acrylate polymer contains a unit based on alkyl (meth)acrylate, the (meth)acrylate polymer contains the unit at 75 to 100 mol% based on all units contained in the (meth)acrylate polymer, the surfactant is a compound in which one group represented by the formula -(OQ)OSOX, wherein Q represents an alkylene group, n represents an integer of 2 to 48, and Xrepresents Naor NH, and 2 to 4 phenylalkyl groups bind to a benzene ring.
