Abstract:
To provide a manufacturing method of a battery in which an electrode body can be impregnated sufficiently with an electrolyte, and impregnation completion time can be shortened.
The manufacturing method of a battery 100 includes a liquid injection step for injecting an electrolyte 117 into a battery case 110 housing an electrode body 120, and an impregnation step for impregnating the electrode body 120 with the electrolyte 117 thus injected, while reducing or eliminating a pressing force applied from contact walls 110c, 110d of the battery case 110 to the electrode body 120, by moving the contact walls 110c, 110d outward.
