A first electrode and a second electrode have first portions facing each other across a discharge gap, second portions disposed in parallel at intervals with the first portions, and third portions connecting the first portions and the second portions and provided for each cell. The first portion and the second portion of the second electrode have parting portions in a non-display region of a front plate where no image is displayed, one of the parting portion of the first portion and the second portion is formed on a first cell side from a position corresponding to a partition wall sectioning off the first cell and a second cell where the non-display region starts, the other parting portion is formed on the second cell side, and the second electrode in the parted non-display region is not conductive to the second electrode in a display region.
