Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a steel for carburization capable of suppressing abnormal grain growth during carburization as much as possible while securing cold forgeability sufficiently.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a steel for carburization has at least a step A for conducting annealing of a steel material, and a step B for heating the steel material annealed in the step A to a temperature of 1100°C or more by a high frequency induction heating method before a carburization treatment to solid dissolving AlN in the steel material and then cooling the same.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
