A manufacturing method for an ink pack 71 comprises: a discharge step of discharging ink charged in an accommodation portion 73 of the ink pack 71 outside the ink pack 71 via a communication portion 75 for causing an inner portion and an outer portion of the ink pack 71 to communicate with each other; and subsequent to the discharge step, an injection step of injecting the ink inside the accommodation portion 73 of the ink pack 71 via the communication portion 75. In the discharge step, the ink is discharged outside the accommodation portion 73 of the ink pack 71 by sequentially pressing the accommodation portion 73 from an end portion 141 side opposite to the communication portion 75 with the accommodation portion 73 of the ink pack 71 interposed therebetween toward a communication portion 75 side.
