Abstract:
To provide a manufacturing method of a liquid crystal panel used for a liquid crystal display device possible to be made thinner having polyester excellent in anti-moisture-permeability, dimension stability, and mechanical strength even if thin as a polarizer protection film in addition to providing a liquid crystal display device using the polarizer used for the manufacturing method of the liquid crystal panel and the polarizer.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a liquid crystal panel comprises: a step of cutting an elongated light source side polarizing plate to a predetermined dimension; a step of cutting an elongated viewer side polarizing plate to a predetermined dimension; and a step of bonding the light source side polarizing plate and the viewer side polarizing plate to a liquid crystal cell, and either or both of the elongated light source side polarizing plate and the elongated viewer side polarizing plate includes the following features (1) to (3). (1) A polarizer is present on a polyester carrier film, and an angle made by a fast axis of the polyester carrier film and a transmission axis of the polarizer is equal to or less than 10 degree, (2) A refractive factor of the fast axis direction of the polyester carrier film is 1.53 to 1.62, and (3) The thickness of the polyester carrier film is equal to or less than 90 μm.SELECTED DRAWING: None
