To provide a lithographic printing plate material with an excellent image reproducibility and printability, and a manufacturing method of the lithographic printing plate material, and also, a lithographic printing plate material for CTP which shows excellent image reproducibility and printability and enables developing of an image aboard the printer and a manufacturing method of this lithographic printing plate material.

This lithographic printing plate material has a hydrophilic layer formed by applying a coating solution for the hydrophilic layer on a support and an imaging layer formed on the hydrophilic layer. The coating solution for the hydrophilic layer contains a colloidal silica and silicate and is obtained by adding the silicate to a prepared solution for the hydrophilic layer containing the colloidal silica. The manufacturing method of the lithographic printing plate material is employed to manufacture the plate material which features the use of the coating solution for the hydrophilic layer obtained by stirring the prepared solution for the hydrophilic layer containing the colloidal silica and the silicate.
