Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display with a high brightness, a high precision and a superior light-emitting characteristic wherein an insulating wall has less meandering, collapse, or peeling, wherein disconnections are less, and wherein unevenness in brightness is less.
SOLUTION: A coated film is formed on the substrate by applying a paste containing glass powders and organic components, and the coated film is worked to form the insulating wall pattern. Afterwards, the substrate and the insulating wall pattern is baked, and a rib wall is formed on the substrate wherein the upper face width (Lt), the half width (Lh), and the lower face width (Lb) are in the range of Lt/Lh=0.65 to 1, Lb/Lh=1 to 2 (except in case Lt=Lh=Lb).
