Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a new powdery crosslinked fluorine resin and capable of efficiently obtaining the powdery crosslinked fluorine resin of high quality having a uniform particle size at a low cost. SOLUTION: This production of a powdery crosslinked fluorine resin is to keep a powdery unbridged fluorine resin at a temperature equal to or more than its melting point in a low oxygen atmosphere, forcibly float the powdery resin in a separated state by the gas flow of the low oxygen atmosphere and irradiate the resin with radioactive rays to carry out the crosslinking treatment. Thus, the powdery unbridged fluorine resin is treated in isolated particle units to crosslink by the radioactive rays, the powdery crosslinked fluorine resin of high quality having a uniform particle size can be effectively produced.
