Abstract:

To provide a manufacturing method of a print head which makes cracks not ready to develop in a piezoelectric actuator and has a small variation in a discharge speed and to provide the print head manufactured by the manufacturing method.

In the manufacturing method of the print head, on the surface of a channel member 16, a piezoelectric actuator 15 having a thickness of 100 μm or less is joined so that a displacement element 5 is disposed immediately above a liquid compression chamber 16a. In the manufacturing method of the print head, after the piezoelectric actuator 15 is joined with the surface of the channel member 16, with compression stresss applied to the piezoelectric actuator 15, a piezoelectric ceramic layer 3 is polarized. The print head is obtained by this manufacturing method.
