Title:
海洋生物付着防止剤
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP4110600
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject antifoulant which inhibits the fouling of marine organisms, shows fine efficiency even when mixed with paints and is slightly soluble in seawater by including a polyvinylimidazoline as an active ingredient. SOLUTION: This antifoulant comprises a polyvinylimidazoline as an active ingredient. The polyvinylimidazoline is generally produced from a polymer containing nitrile groups, e.g. an acrylonitrile or methacrylonitrile polymer (as the monomer capable of copolymerizing, vinyl halogenides such as vinyl chloride and the like or vinylidene halogenides such as vinylidene chloride and the like), and a polyamine (e.g. a 1,2-diamine such as ethylenediamine or the like). As the above polyimidazoline, a crosslinked polyvinylimidazoline can be used. In addition, a zinc complex, a copper complex or a silver complex is also usable.
