PURPOSE: To achieve an operation without uncontrolled action associated with rising or falling by arranging an upper limit dog at an upper part of one parallel rack, a lower limit dog at a lower part of the other rack and a housing dog below the lower limit dog to make massaging elements work multifunctionally.
CONSTITUTION: Two racks 18 mounted on the rear part of a chair are so formed to be parallel with each other on the left and on the right. A drive unit is allowed to rise or fall with the two racks 18 while being held to keep the attitude thereof constant. Moreover, an upper limit dog 55 is attached to an upper part of one rack 18, a lower limit dog 57 to a position below the upper limit dog 55 and a housing dog 56 to a position below the lower limit dog 57. The housing dog 56 is provided with detecting sections 45, 46 and 58 corresponding to the upper limit dog 55, the lower limit dog 57 and the housing dog 56 respectively.
